Couples' Transition to Parenthood

I specialize in working with couples using the Becoming Us model, a developmentally informed approach that helps partners understand how individual histories and transitions shape their relationship. This work is especially supportive for couples navigating major life shifts such as pregnancy, new parenthood, and evolving family roles. Together, we slow things down to make sense of recurring patterns, emotional reactivity, and unmet attachment needs. The goal is to help couples move out of blame and disconnection and toward greater empathy, emotional safety, and teamwork.

Eating Disorders & Body Image

I specialize in supporting individuals on their journey towards healing from disordered eating patterns and cultivating a positive relationship with food and body image. As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I am deeply committed to promoting Health At Every Size (HAES) principles, and dismantling the harmful effects of diet culture. If you're struggling with disordered eating or body image issues and are ready to embark on a journey towards healing and self-compassion, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation. Together, we can work towards reclaiming joy, freedom, and peace in your relationship with food and body.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect for each individual's journey. Drawing from my warm, calming, and authentic style, I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. I believe in the power of humor to lighten the mood and foster connection, while also maintaining a direct and honest dialogue to address challenges head-on.

Within this safe and nonjudgmental space, clients are encouraged to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors with honesty and vulnerability. I recognize the courage it takes to confront difficult experiences and believe in empowering clients to embrace their journey towards healing and growth. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning I am attuned to the impact of past traumas and prioritize creating a sense of safety and trust. Additionally, I am culturally-sensitive and acknowledge the influence of diverse backgrounds and experiences on each individual's perspective.

By integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a primarily attachment-based lens, I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking healing from past traumas, striving to overcome disordered eating habits, or navigating the complexities of adolescence, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
